I am so honored to be a bridesmaid in Amanda & Travis’s wedding this May, but we still wanted to do an engagement photography session even though I won’t be photographing their big day!
Sydney’s high school senior photography session was a blast- we had so much fun that we plan to fit in another shoot before she graduates! In addition to being GORGEOUS she clearly has a great sense of style and is just the sweetest girl. For this session we strolled around downtown Cape Girardeau and other local spots. I scouted some locations beforehand and I found some crazy awesome colorful buildings that popped great against her adorable black and white chevron dress. I just love gritty urban backdrops for senior sessions. They offer such a variety of colors and textures everywhere you look. I feel so lucky to have so much of those types of locations within walking distance of my studio. Sydney was even willing to put on her formal dress and continue the session outside! I love the look of a glamorous dress against different urban scenes. We have some really great things planned for our next session together and I absolutely cannot wait for it! Once the warmer weather is here and the grass starts getting greener, look out!
This little girl made us work for it during her newborn photography session! But oh, was it worth it. Look at that head of hair! She is just precious. I had a lot of fun with little Callie, and I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use that adorable little jeweled princess crown!
Little Miss Evy was just 5 days new for her newborn photography session, and this is just the perfect age to capture that wonderful newness of a tiny newborn. She was such a sweetheart, and what a hungry little girl she was, too! It’s totally normal to take plenty of breaks during these newborn sessions for feedings, comforting, etc. This is why we typically ask for several hours of our Clients’ time to complete a newborn photography session. It may not take that long, but we have to be patient- we are after all, on the little one’s schedule!
